Dear Parents and Students,
On behalf of everyone at Harlan Dance and Tumbling, we want to take this opportunity to extend a warm “Welcome” to each of you. Whether you are a returning family or this is your first year with us, we are pleased that you have selected our Studio and hope you will have an exciting year with us.

We are committed to providing the highest quality of instruction in a first rate facility. Our goal is to maintain an environment where students can learn dance and tumbling in a friendly, professional atmosphere.
REGISTRATION FOR ALL STUDENTS: We are implementing an easy procedure for registering your child/children in our classes for the fall season. Simply go to our website, sherriandjulie.com and fill out the registration forms. Return them with your registration fee, ($25.00 per student, to a maximum of two per family), by August 1st. Our address is: Sherri and Julie’s Dance and Gymnastics, 2605 4th Avenue South, Denison, IA 51442.
If you are new to our Studio, We would like to meet you and your child and give you a chance to see our facility. If you have had training elsewhere, we will need to evaluate your dance or gymnastics ability, so that we may place you at the proper class level. We will be meeting new families on August 10th from 2:00-8:00 p.m.
For your convenience, we stock new tap, jazz and ballet shoes. We also offer you the opportunity to buy or sell used shoes at half price during the registration season.
We are holding a “shoe evening” for new students to be fitted, or for returning students who have outgrown last season’s footwear. It will be August 10th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. You may bring in any used shoes you wish to sell on this date as well. Please have your shoes marked with your child’s name and size on the inside sole of each shoe.
We will not accept any used shoes that are worn out, painted, or damaged in a way that will hinder dancing ability. The shoes must have been gotten through the Studio, for these are quality shoes. We will only sell your shoes if you are planning to enroll this year. This is a courtesy we offer only to returning students. We will not accept any used shoes to be sold once classes begin.
If you are unable to come in for shoes on the above date, a “last chance” shoe night will be held on August 30th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. We would like all dancers to have their shoes before classes begin.
**If your shoes still fit or you are a tumbling student, there is no need for you to come on any of these dates, simply mail us your forms.
LOCATION: We are located on 1301 Hawkeye Ave. From Hwy 59, (on the south end of Harlan), look for the Farm Credit Services of America building, turn east and go several blocks on Hawkeye Ave. Harlan Dance and Tumbling will be on the right.
